Use the List panel of the CSS Style Definition dialog box to define list settings in styles. See also Using CSS style sheets and Editing an external CSS style sheet.
To open the Style Definition dialog box, choose Window > CSS Styles and click the Open Style Sheet icon. (You can also select Edit Style Sheet or New Style from the Style pop-up menu.) In the dialog box that appears, choose a style and click Edit. Click List on the left side of the dialog box. Leave any of the following attributes empty if they are not important to the style:
Type determines the appearance of bullets or numbers. Dreamweaver does not display this attribute in the Document window. Type is supported by both browsers.
Bullet Image lets you specify a custom image for bullets. Click Browse (Windows) or Choose (Macintosh) to browse to an image, or type the image's path. Dreamweaver does not display this attribute in the Document window. Bullet image is supported by IE but not Netscape Navigator.
Position determines whether the list item wraps to an indent (outside) or to the margin (inside). Dreamweaver does not display this attribute in the Document window.
