Library preferences

You can customize the highlight color for library items and show or hide highlighting of library items by setting Highlighting preferences.

To change the highlight color for library items:

1 Choose Edit > Preferences and select the Highlighting category.
2 Click the Library Items color box and select a highlight color using the color picker (or enter the hexadecimal value for the highlight color in the text box). For information about using the color picker, see Working with colors.
3 Select Show to toggle the display of the library highlight color.
4 Click the Show control to enable or disable the display of library-item highlighting in the Document window.
5 Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.

To view highlight colors in the Document window:

Choose View > Visual Aids > Invisible Elements.

Highlight colors appear in the document window only when View > Visual Aids > Invisible Elements is enabled and the appropriate options are enabled in Highlighting preferences.
